David Abazs, Chair, called the regular meeting of the Crystal Bay Town Board of Supervisors to order at 7:08 p.m. with the Pledge of Allegiance at the Clair Nelson Intermodal Transportation Center.
Present: David Abazs, Deb Johansen, Lise Abazs, Paul Hartshorn, Doug Perfetto
Unless otherwise stated, all actions have been approved by unanimous yea vote.
Motion by Paul Hartshorn artshornH, seconded by David Abazs to approve the minutes of the last meeting.

Doug still waiting to hear about amount of payment at Julie’s Variety for flag purchased.
There was a discussion about the credit balance in the Capital Equipment Fund.
Motion by Paul Hartshorn, seconded by David Abazs to move $15,000 from the General Fund into the Capital Equipment Fund.

PUBLIC CONCERNS
A complaint was received from Doug Lillback concerning the junk on property on corner of Hwy 1 and the Salveson Road. Asking County about clean up and support of township. Deb will write letter to the county (Planning & Zoning) from Township showing support of clean – up.
ROAD AND BRIDGE
Doug gave report on roads. Co-op Power & Light has been brushing on airbase road. Doug will be using tractor with long arm (Brad Anderson) to cut.
Doug has cleaned up weeds and tall grass around RV dump site so it can be mowed this summer.
Barricades and cones have been placed on Klinker Road as culvert has washed out. County will be addressing issue.
Road bans will be lifted 5/13/17.
Doug will be going to Duluth to purchase matting for Salveson Road erosion control from top of hill to Jules Salveson home. Will start with culverts as soon as roads are dry.
New sign is needed on Nikolai Road. “Caution –Slow – Children” Doug will look into what is available.
Also asking about speed limit signs. Putting up yellow and black caution signs a possibility. (25 MPH)
Doug will look into what is available thru county.
CLAIR NELSON CENTER
Honor report was read. Donation box is needed at RV dump site. Honor will be making signage. Doug will be finishing up needed dirt work and Honor plans on writing a short article for the Spring Newsletter and maybe North Shore Journal.
A new Xerox Printer/ Scanner was purchased for use at the Clair Nelson Center.
A Grant from Community Wellness was received to plant fruit trees and bushes. Said Grant only pays for supplies and equipment, not installation so is working on more funding.
NEW BUSINESS
Deb to email Barb Gervais concerning May 3rd ALCCTA meeting hosted at Clair Nelson Center.
Dinner – 6:00 p.m. / meeting – 7:00. Discussion on serving pizza.
April 27th at 1:00 will be the Board of Equalization and at 9:30 meet at town garage for road tour.
